Designing, producing, and selling products remains a wondrous world. The fun part is seeing a product come to life. Many considerations and choices go into it beforehand. And then to think about everything that happens during the entire production process. The plastic bottles being reused and woven into fabric, the printing of the various designs, the weaving of the straps, the sewing, packaging, shipping, etc. How many people were ultimately involved in making that one bag that makes you so happy?
And so it is a year since we started our new bag collection which can now be admired at our points of sale and, of course, in our own online shop.
It's nice to mention that I've been working with a graphic designer for over 20 years. Anouk Pruim. First as colleagues at children's centre ‘Vandaag’ and then as independent entrepreneurs. Besides my own design of the first fabrics slingers Upon their launch in the Netherlands, Anouk created the first two complementary designs for us. With these three fantastic party garlands, we conquered the market. People became fans of these ‘garlands for life’. They were delighted by our colourful products, which were able to contribute to those moments worth celebrating. This was precisely the intention. People who are happy with our products and even get a smile on their face. People who see children beam when they go to school with their new bag, or twinkle in their eyes upon seeing the birthday garland hung especially for them. These are the beautiful traditions that are so valuable.
And precisely now, now that all the children can go back to school, now the shops are open again and we're even making holiday plans, our new bag collection has arrived.
Designs to savour. Designs for young and old.
The three new designs are made for our bags and cases, all from recycled material. The new designs have been created in collaboration with graphic designer Anouk Pruim. Bold, floral and cheerful: there's something for everyone! Of course, our collection once again includes the classic schoolbag French cut.
We've been inspired by the clean lines of a chessboard, a field of blue and pink flowers, and the circus. Each new design transports you to a magical world. Imagine yourself as the bravest acrobat, the best chess player, or the most beautiful flower. There are two sizes of bags: for little and big wonderers!
We are also proud to present three beautiful new ‘Zipper’ colours. Our own blue, Pink Okay brown. The ‘Zipper’ bag comes in two sizes; large Okay Small. Ours Small It's small but mighty and has enough room for your lunchbox, craft supplies, and pencil case. Because it's a little deeper than our previous model, there's even more space for fun bits and bobs!
The large is not only perfect for older children, but also for adults who love a nice retro look. A laptop fits inside with ease. Thanks to the new handy side pocket, your water bottle will always fit too. This makes the large Excellent for anyone who prefers to carry a lot on their back!
