Right of withdrawal

6.1 When purchasing products, the consumer has the option to dissolve the agreement without stating reasons for 14 days. This reflection period begins on the day after the consumer receives the product, or a representative designated in advance by the consumer and made known to the entrepreneur.

  • Once a return has been registered, we, as the retailer, have 14 days to refund the order amount, including shipping costs.

6.2 During the reflection period, the consumer will handle the product and packaging with care. Should the product be damaged or the packaging more damaged than is necessary to try the product, we may charge you for this reduction in value. Therefore, handle the product with care and ensure it is well-packaged for return.
6.3 When the consumer wishes to exercise their right of withdrawal, they are obliged to notify the trader thereof within 14 days of receipt of the product. The consumer must notify the trader by means of the model form. After the consumer has notified their wish to exercise their right of withdrawal, the customer must return the product within 14 days. The consumer must prove that the delivered goods have been returned on time, for example, by means of proof of dispatch.
6.4 If the customer has not indicated a desire to exercise their right of withdrawal after the expiry of the periods mentioned in paragraphs 2 and 3, or has not returned the product to the trader, the sale shall be considered final.
6.5 If the consumer exercises their right of withdrawal, they shall bear at most the costs of return.
6.6 If the consumer has paid an amount, the entrepreneur shall refund this amount as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after cancellation. The condition for this is that the product has already been received back by the online retailer or conclusive proof of complete return can be provided.
6.7 All products supplied by ENGEL. which are considered bespoke (such as, but not limited to, products provided with text, photos or other images at the customer's request and products provided with embroidery at the customer's request) are explicitly excluded from the right of withdrawal as described in paragraphs 1 and 2.
6.8 If a product is not delivered according to the customer's specifications, they must contact ENGEL's customer service within 14 days. This can be done in writing, by email to [email protected], or by telephone.
6.9 Personalised ENGEL products are made to order (individually). Due to this, it is not possible to return your order. If the order has not been carried out correctly, please let us know via our helpdesk. If a ”non-personalised product” is chosen during ordering, returns are possible.
